Eyeliners.com is free to read and funded by affiliate commissions. When you buy through certain retailer links, the retailer may pay us a commission. You never pay more because of this.
What this does and does not influence
- It does not influence the technique guides or ingredient explanations, which contain no product placements.
- It does not decide which products make the shortlists. Products are selected first, based on specifications, ingredients and aggregated ratings; retailer links are attached afterwards to whichever partner stocks them.
- It does mean we have a financial relationship with some retailers. Commission-earning links are marked with
rel="sponsored"in the page code, and pages carrying such links show a visible disclosure box. - It does not change what we say about a product. Where a pick has a recurring complaint, we print the complaint next to the pick, including for brands we earn from.
Who we may earn from
Eyeliners.com participates in affiliate programmes on the Awin network. As of August 2026 we have live partnerships with Stila and No7, and applications pending with beauty retailers and brands including LOOKFANTASTIC, Cult Beauty, Boots, allbeauty, KIKO Milano, Benefit Cosmetics, Space NK, Beauty Bay and Kulfi Beauty. Links to retailers we are not yet partnered with earn us nothing and are marked as sponsored anyway, because we would rather over-disclose than have you wonder.
Where the money does not reach
We do not accept payment for placement, we do not publish sponsored posts, and we do not run display advertising. No advertiser sees a page before it is published, and no advertiser has editorial input.
